Get a tradies insurance quote

Tell us your trade, the cover you want and how to reach you. A Tradies365 broker will contact you about the cover you asked for, during business hours.

General advice only. Read the policy documents we send with your quote before you decide.

How we use your details. Tradies365, run by the brokers at Connect Business Insurance (1300 226 268, mate@tradies365.com.au), collects the details in this form to get you quotes from insurers and arrange the cover you ask for. We share them with insurers and underwriting agencies, with Community Broker Network, our licensee, and with service providers who help us, such as Jotform, which stores form answers in the United States, and our email provider. If you don't give us the details marked as required, we may not be able to get you a quote.

We also record which page you came from. Our analytics tools, Google Analytics and Ahrefs, never receive your name, contact details, ABN or address. Our Privacy and cookies page explains more, and our licensee's Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab) explains how to access or correct your information and how to make a privacy complaint.

How a tradesman insurance quote works.

  1. Tell us your trade.

A short online form, or a call to the Tradies365 hotline.

  2. We get you quotes.

Our brokers look at the work you actually do and ask insurers to quote on the cover you ask for.

  3. Choose, then get back to work.

Cover starts once you pick a policy and the insurer agrees to it. Plain-English answers, and a real person on the phone when you need one.

Quote questions.

What do I need to get a quote?

Your trade and state, the public liability limit you want, roughly what your tools are worth, how many people work in the business, how much is subcontracted, your estimated turnover and how to reach you. Your ABN helps but is optional. If you're not sure about something, give us an estimate or call us.

How long does a quote take?

Simple quotes are often back the same day, and more complex ones usually take 1 to 3 business days, once we have all the information we need. Having your details ready when you send the form helps.

Who will the insurer be?

That depends on your trade and which insurers quote. Each quote names the insurer, and you can read its policy documents before you decide. We're brokers: we arrange the cover, and the insurer issues the policy.

Can I get a certificate of currency once I'm covered?

Yes, once a policy is in place you can ask us for one to show a head contractor or client.
